My sister contacted me the other day and commissioned a cake for a girls night out that she was having with her mother-in-law and her sister-in-laws. Their plan was to go out to dinner and then see the newly released movie, Austen Land, and then head up to Park City to stay the night and enjoy a surprise cake! She supplied me with a few different Jane Austen themed pictures and then we designed the cake to reflect some of the elements in the pictures and description she described. I loved doing all of the finite details on this cake.
All details are made with fondant, except for some small edible pearls that were placed in the broach on the double strand of pearls.
